Let's get Festive!

When it comes to Indian clothes, we all love the royal fabrics, rich colors and the intricate work, but can’t deny that they’re not the most easy and comfortable to wear for long hours.

This festive season I came up with some easy to wear, comfortable outfits perfect for any occasion from a friend's engagement party to a Diwali puja. Here's how I have styled some look that would work perfectly for day or night.

. The Muga Chadar (Assam Silk) .

Assamese girls love wearing Mekhela Chadar in any occasion. We always want to look good and different. Here I ignore being too bling  but love to look stylish with the simple pant style drap arround.

Goldenish Brown color chadar with golden boat neck blouse to balance both the colors. The color seems dull in the camera so to complement them I have put a pink bindi and my favorite leather tights.

I am not a tall person just 5'4. Since I wanted to look tall I came up with a pair of high-waisted flared pants/bell bottoms/ boot cut, which had a huge come back after the period of 1970's high fashion. A white simple cotton top to balance the bell bottom color. Trying to keep it more simple with a pair of copper kolhapuri.

Just draping over a bright color duppata because I don't want to look dull and boring. Trust me any bright color add-on to the outfit makes a lot of difference. It will help you to enhance your presence significantly.

What I am wearing.

Muga Chadar : Woven (Assam)
White Cotton Top : Fabindia
Brown Bell Bottoms : Koovs
Grey Front Open Tunic : Trifted
Pink Dupatta : Soch

Hope you like it. Until next Stay sassy and always classy.
Greetings for a very Happy Festive Season!!

XoXo
