Before we know it, the leaves will be falling and a new season will officially be upon us. And we all know that with a new season, comes new styles!  

Every season has its must-have wardrobe items, and in winter, it’s all about being warm while remaining stylish. Here are seven winter wardrobes essentials you need for all occasions.

1. Skinny Jeans 

 Skinny jeans are perfect for winter as their streamlined silhouette allows you to layer multiple items on top for warmth. Wear them with ballet flats and a leather jacket in the day or point toe heels and a silk drape top for a night out on the town. These go-to pants can do no wrong. 




2. Cashmere Sweater 

 Cashmere Sweaters are perfect for layering with a button up shirt or to wear under jackets. This chic layering piece can be as easy to dress up as it is to dress down. This sweater looks great with a collared shirt protruding from underneath but goes with everything including midi skirts, printed trousers and leather pants.



 3. Fedora

  Although a hat might not spring to mind when thinking of winter must have's, wool or felt fedora is a great way to keep warm without sacrificing on style as this accessory can make any outfit look more put together.


4. Navy Overcoat 

 As it gets colder and especially on those gloomy days, our wardrobe unconsciously reflects the weather. This is why a bold coat is perfect for those days. It requires no effort on your part, and will dress up your whole simple outfit.  

 5. Knitted Jumper Dress

The easiest way to show a little leg and stay cozy at the same time is by wearing a knitted jumper dress. For added warmth, pair it with tights or pop your favorite winter coat on top, which can be removed once inside.

 


6. Turtleneck Top

Investing in a turtleneck top will ensure that your neck is nice and snug all winter long! This style looks good with anything whether it be paired with a sweater and sleeveless dress, or simply worn on its own with jeans.



7. Ankle Boots

Ankle boots are a perennial wardrobe staple. Ever so stylish and versatile this shoe never seems to get old. Pair with a dress and tights in the day or finish off any going out look.

Hello all, Over the past years or so, I think I have mastered the art of taking the perfect flatlay. Now if you follow me on Instagram (link here) you guys will know half of my feed is full of flatlay and my love for capturing it. Apparently Flatlays are images that are mostly pictures of products that are taken perfectly parallel to the ground. I have always received a lot of positive comments on my flatlays, so I am going to share all of secrets in this blogpost. 1. Props: The very first thing you need to do is gather your items. I highly recommend choosing items with a similar color palette to make the image look more cohesive. Also choose items of different sizes. For example, I like to use cameras, makeup, books and small plants.  2. Background: Next, find a background. I mostly use marble slab which I got it from a local store, but marble contract paper will work totally fine. You can actually use anything from a white surface to a wooden floor.

Cook with Love

I always wanted to do something about this “obsession” (if I could call it that) I have with food. Many of my friends suggested to start doing food post in my blog so I thought I’ll start with my first one. I love food, I love eating and I love cooking. I love eating out as much as I love eating home cooked meals. After shifting to Bangalore, me and my sister cook every day and for me dinner is the most important meal and ending my day with a good, tasty dinner with friends and family gives me much satisfaction, mostly because I hate eating alone! I am a little lazy with the breakfast so I have my elder sister to make that for me every day. Easy simple cooking is the way I like in our kitchen… oh! and some good music! I believe cooking and music go hand in hand and in my case it helps me whip up a meal in no time. This one here is a personal favorite from my repertoire which I cook very often. It is a beautiful Tom Yum soup with noodles and shrimp, full of flavor and healthy
