Lookbook- Pondicherry


Hey there!! How is January treating you all. Mine is going super cool until now (*touchwood). Well yes a few of my travel stories are pending but here's a glance into one of my recent ones, my first trip of 2017, Pondicherry.  



This little French city keeps you happy and gay which could be the reason why we spent our days completely relaxed. We wander around, ate different exotic dishes, and walked around the city like a total tourist. The best part is it's a small place and everything is so nearby. 
We were there for the weekend i.e 14 and 15th of Jan. Its was a sudden plan, usually I don't get off on Saturday (YES, its painful) so when I got this holiday it was hard to let it waste.

So, we started our journey on Friday night and Saturday morning 6:00 am we reached Pondy!! The city was vibrantly decorated for Pongal with Rangolis and fairy lights and other decor that totally brought on the holiday mood for us.

 This post is going to be a Lookbook of what I wore. Will share all the other pictures once I get it developed. We only carried our analog film to our trip.

Hello all, Over the past years or so, I think I have mastered the art of taking the perfect flatlay. Now if you follow me on Instagram (link here) you guys will know half of my feed is full of flatlay and my love for capturing it. Apparently Flatlays are images that are mostly pictures of products that are taken perfectly parallel to the ground. I have always received a lot of positive comments on my flatlays, so I am going to share all of secrets in this blogpost. 1. Props: The very first thing you need to do is gather your items. I highly recommend choosing items with a similar color palette to make the image look more cohesive. Also choose items of different sizes. For example, I like to use cameras, makeup, books and small plants.  2. Background: Next, find a background. I mostly use marble slab which I got it from a local store, but marble contract paper will work totally fine. You can actually use anything from a white surface to a wooden floor.

Cook with Love

I always wanted to do something about this “obsession” (if I could call it that) I have with food. Many of my friends suggested to start doing food post in my blog so I thought I’ll start with my first one. I love food, I love eating and I love cooking. I love eating out as much as I love eating home cooked meals. After shifting to Bangalore, me and my sister cook every day and for me dinner is the most important meal and ending my day with a good, tasty dinner with friends and family gives me much satisfaction, mostly because I hate eating alone! I am a little lazy with the breakfast so I have my elder sister to make that for me every day. Easy simple cooking is the way I like in our kitchen… oh! and some good music! I believe cooking and music go hand in hand and in my case it helps me whip up a meal in no time. This one here is a personal favorite from my repertoire which I cook very often. It is a beautiful Tom Yum soup with noodles and shrimp, full of flavor and healthy
